Amanda’s upbringing in the Bay Area was marked by significant financial struggles and her father’s long-term battle with heart disease. Despite these challenges, Amanda was determined to become independent and worked full-time from the age of 13. Her experiences have made her a very humble and open-minded individual who has a strong desire to give back to those in need.

Amanda’s professional career spans over 20 years in various roles such as sales, international sourcing, compliance, and management, making her a great fit for real estate. She holds a degree in Graphic Design and Human Resource Management, as well as various certificates for completed training courses by FSPCA. In addition to her full-time job as a realtor and being a new mom, she is also the President of a Bay Area Non-Profit 501c3 dog rescue called Underdog Animal Rescue, which she founded in 2014.

Underdog Animal Rescue is a foster-based, volunteer-run group that rescues all breeds, sizes, ages, and conditions of dogs. Since its inception, the rescue has saved over 2700 dogs and has plans for expansion.
